1) The strong parts of my project are blending the colors on the backgrounds because they fade from light to dark.
2) I think I could of came up with better themes because I didn't add very good details and my paintings looked too plain.
3) I objects I painted on were Lamp shades and a picture frame. I got the objects from my bedroom. The textures are plastic and hard. I selected those surfaces because they were plain and I thought I could add some color to them.
4) The theme of my designs are nature. I painted some mountains and stars on one of my objects and on the other one I painted a flower scene. I did these designs because people gave me the ideas.
5) The colors that i chose were from the cool family because I enjoy the colors green, violet, and blue. I added tints and shades to each of my paintings.
6) The rhythm of my design is the brush strokes because they all go from side to side. Another rhythm that I have are the mountains and polka dots.
7) What I learned from this project is that it's hard to paint on some 3-D surfaces because the paint easily peels off. When life gets you down you have to just keep swimming. :)
8) The steps of my project were first I decided my objects, next I just started painting the background a solid color and added tints are shades of that color. I then decided what I wanted my theme to be on each of them. Some I had to take a break and think of a new idea. I started painting and didn't like it, so then I took off all the paint and started over.
9) Yes, I enjoyed this project because we got to chose what material we used and got to design it however we wanted. I think you should do this again next year because it makes people be creative and get their unique juices flowing!
