Watercolor Trilogy Reflection (1-D): January 24, 2013.
1. I think I did well on adding different colors and making things stand out in each painting.
2. I could of added more details to each painting.
3. The theme of my past painting is Ventura basketball because I really enjoyed paying sports there and it meant a lot to me. The theme of my present is a Bible verse because it has senamental value to me. The theme to my future is a house with a saying because i hope to have a family and a house of my own in the future.
4. The background color of blue and purple fade out. Also I have black writing on all them because I thought it made it stand out and looked clean and neat.
5. I like that you can blend the background easier than acyrlic paint, but i don't like that it smears and doesn't look as clean and sharp as other paints. I also like that it's easier to clean up.
6. I learned you have to make enough time to clean all the brushes and not use very much paint because it goes a long way. I learned that you have to make things out of your mistakes and not just throw it away.
7. First I painted all the backgrounds, second I decided to add water to make the background fade more, third I added all the details. I waited to do my future because I didn't know what I wanted to paint yet and used pencil on some to have a sketch before i added paint.
8. I think it's a good first project because it's small and you get to practice your watercolor skills and get to work on things. I liked that we had time in class before we started our finals.
